40 Year Reunion Update 8/1/22

OK all, so here is where we stand with the reunion. I am still attempting to open the class bank account but there are more hoops to jump through. If you had expressed an interest on being in the committee or attended one of the meetings please check your Messenger inbox for a request regarding the reunion account set up. If you are interested in joining the comittee please use the contact form on this page to notify me or via Facebook Messenger.

I have decided to put up the deposit for the venue personally. I, of course, would like to get reimbursed for as much as possible for the deposit as it isn't cheap.

I want this reunion to happen as much as anyone so it's time to lock in a date and worry about money later. With that said I'd appreciate if people who plan on attending purchase tickets as soon as they're made available. Please!

Remember that I'm trying to keep costs down at about a max of $60/person due to today's inflation and complaints about the last reunion being $75/person. The compromise is that this will be a reception style reunion with hors d'oeuvres/small plates and cash bar (possibly 1 drink ticket per person). This will also allow close knit groups to arrange their own more intimate dinners and then celebrate as a class. David Bell has kindly offered to provide the music and we will keep decorations simple.

To be perfectly honest, I refuse to have a reunion that may be cost prohibitive as some classes are charging $100/person for their reunions especially when you factor in travel and lodging for some.
